Lewiston Public Library | The Summer Reading Game
The Summer Reading Game is an 8-week program beginning in June that encourages children and families to read over the summer. Children and families read for a minimum of 2 hours per week (at least 20 minutes a day) to earn weekly prizes. After children have met this goal for 6 weeks they win a large prize like our famous t-shirts, or our new drawstring bags. In addition to the Summer Reading Game, we also offer exciting programs such as special performers, fun activities, and craft classes. To see what kinds of events and activities we’re holding this year check out our Calendar of Events.
